The Coven

Charlie laughed and then kicked him "Get up and fight"

"Get up!"she yelled at him "Stop crying and get up"

Grassway jumped and landed on ehr face. Charlie grabbed her and threw her at a tree. She hit it and lay limp. She had lost a life but still had 7 left

"Charlie's gone never coming back and once i kill you it will be final."she smiled adn then lunged at him.

"Scream run fight kick it's no use. Your dead meat"she hissed and jumped again scratching him.

Grassway threw herself at Charlie again. She scratched her face and arms up. Blood oozed out of the cuts but they healed instantly. She took the cat by the throat and threw her again. She landed with a soft thump and got back up running at ehr again. Again Charlie grabbed her and threw her.

The old Charlie flickered past her face for about a minute just to give him a i'm-so-sorry look then it was gonea nd she knocked him tothe ground again. There was only two housr left to go before the old Charlie would come back unless she killed Jacob.

Somewhere in the distance a clock chimmened. The clock was always 10 minutes fast which ment she had 10 minutes to kill Jacob. She bent over hima dn opened ehr mouth. SHe was about to deliver the killing blow when grassway jumped up again and hit her in the face. Her fangs scrappped across his neck and she licked ehr lips where the bloodo was. She had tasted it and now she had to have it.

Grassway bit her hard and Charlie squeezed the life from the cat. it fell limp. She ahd only 7 lives left now. Charlie was in great pain and she wasn't as fast. "Come back"she yelled running at him. She was abotu to catch up with him.

Just as Charlie made it to cave and was about to deliver the finished blow. The clock chimmed 12 and her body convulsed. She fell to the ground and went though a small series of spasms. It went completely dark and blue smoke came out of her nose, mouth, eyes, and chest. It flew around Jacob's cave and then a scream was heard before it suddenly dissapeared. Charlie's body raised off the ground when it left and then it fell to the ground not moving.

Charlie took a big breath as her spirit flowed back into her. She got up and looked around. She saw Jacob and scrambled over to him. "Jacob Jacob are you okay?"

Charlie said "I'm so so sorry, I it wasn't me I promise"she didn't know what to do.

Charlie didn't hug him for a moment then hugged him tight.

"Shhhh Shhhh"she whispered to him "She's gone and never coming back. Don't worry. She can no longer hurt you"

"I'm here Jacob I'm here."she whispered to him and ran her fingers through his hair

"She's never coming back. I wont let her"she said

Charlie ask "Do you want to go back to the house?"

Charlie got up with Jacob in her arms. She carried him back to the house ans sat him down on his cushion. Grassway padded up and said "I don't get paid enough for this"she stretched her back and it popped. "You don't get paid" Charlie said "my point exactly" Grassway

"Who's hungry?" Charlie asked heading upstairs

Charlie made a mound of sammis and brought out some milk. She sat the plate downa dn the two milk glasses. Now that Jacob knew about her being a vampire she didn't hide it. She made no attempt to hide it. She had the stuff finished in about 30 seconds.

"What?"she asked sitting down and getting a book.

"What's wrong?"she asked hims concerned

"Are you okay?"she asked. She tried to figure out how to ask him

Charlie tensed then relaxed

"Yes?"she asked looking at him over her book
